We want to make you aware of changes coming to our CFN Telehealth services as we stay in compliance with governing agencies.
Many states are ending their emergency authorizations for Telehealth visits with providers from other states. Providers will soon be required to have a medical license in the state that the patient is located in to provide these services.
Unfortunately, with this change, Telehealth services for prescription refills or medical follow up visits will not be available to patients located outside of Kansas or Missouri at the time of the visit.
If you are located outside of Kansas or Missouri and need prescriptions refilled, we recommend that you request the refills from your primary care provider. Or, if possible, we would love to have you come to our office for an in-person visit on a monthly basis. Please note: Some of our nurses hold multi-state licenses, so if you are in a state other than Kansas or Missouri and need nutrition follow up visits, please inquire about continuing Telehealth services with one of our licensed nursing staff.
